When pollution word is used, the meaning of that is not confined to air and earth pollution. While there is also other types that affect the environment. Like pollution result from production revolution, sound pollution or noise, and eye noise, … etc.
The pollution or noise that affect eye is concerned in light pollution. This type could be defined as a pollution that cause annoy to other livings in an environment and affect them. As example in night and with extra lighting related to human behavior in some areas, animals like birds, bats, etc.. could be annoyed and effected. This effect is reflected to their style of life.
This effect may be related to one or more type of lighting pollution causes which could be described as:
- Light intrusion: It occurs when extra light enter a specific area causing irritation. As example: when an extra light of a car coming inside a room in house, causing wakeup of sleeping. This type is considered as light pollution.
- Extra illumination: It occurs when a specific area need a specific and enough amount of illumination. But just for boosting the feeling of control of human. Extra illumination is pumped for same area; this make also light pollution.
- Disarranging of lights: This may intersects with point number 2 above. As misarranging of needed lights that give specific amount of illumination; over lighting may occur if distance between lighting was short. On the other hand opposite is occurred in over distance conditions.
