Renewable energy is the energy that can be obtained from sources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves and geothermal heat, which can be obtained from sources with no carbon emissions - or very low emisions and that can be constantly present in nature. Fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas are now being replaced by renewable energy sources. Although fossil fuels currently provide about 80% of the world's energy needs; Iceland and Norway generate all their electricity using renewable energy, and many other countries have set targets to reach 100% renewable energy in the future.

Our company, which is a leader in the field of outdoor lighting, produces solar lighting systems that work only with solar energy, without being connected to the grid. Considering that there are approximately 7 million street lighting fixtures throughout Turkey, and that there is an electricity consumption of approximately 4 billion kWh, ie 2 percent of the total consumption, we underline that investments in this field will be important for our country and the world.
