EN is the abbreviation for European norm. This technical norms drafted by three European standards organizations. These are; European Committee for Standardization, European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization and European Telecommunications Standards Institute. These organizations determines requirements for products to comly with Eurpoean standards.
EN 40-5 series is for the lighting sector and involves the features of steel lighting columns to be used in the building industry. These features are; It involves many basic features such as size and shape tolerance of the product, deviation from direction, material used, welding, corrosion protection, design. Our steel columns, which we produce as Yakan Lighting, meet the requirements of EN 40-5 steel lighting poles and have been registered with the TS EN 40-5 certificate. In other words, our steel lighting products fully comply with European standards.
