What is the IP code that determines the protection rating?

Ingress Protection Code, is a degree of protection defined by the IEC, which provides international standards for electrical and electronic technologies.

This rating, shows the resistance of mechanical casings and the protection that covers electrical appliances against external factors. For instance, just the phrase “waterproof” does not give detailed information about the solar lighting product, but in our IP66 certificate, we have shown that this product is resistant to high-pressure water from all directions. The IP code consists of a four-digit code, the last two of which are optional. Generally only the first two digits are indicated. The first digit after IP indicates the resistacne of the device against solid objects. The second digit indicates the resistance of the device to liquid contact.
